Kirkland, Washington - March 16, 2005 - Wiresoft Net introduces the SPAMWALL module for its Sentry security appliances. With the addition of SPAMWALL, the Sentry security appliance provides unparalleled layered security protection to small businesses including the ability to block 100% of all junk email (spam) messages that are received by the company's email server.

The SPAMWALL module is a challenge-response system that authoritatively verifies the existence of each person who wishes to communicate with a protected company email address. SPAMWALL protection is granular. Protection can be enabled/disabled on a per-address basis, allowing configurable protection of specific employees while permitting others, such as the sales department, to receive all email that is sent to them. Advanced per-address features allow individual users to independently manage their own whitelists, blacklists, holding queues and related features.

With the SPAMWALL module, Sentry blocks junk email messages before they ever reach the company mail server.

SPAMWALL is designed for the Sentry Professional appliance (or higher) and is not supported by the Sentry Standard appliance.
