Unsure of which type of connection you have?
- Call the Reseller whom the unit was purchased through.
- Wiresoft does not support end users, you may call us and we will give you the name of a Reseller in your area.
- Most Interment connections are dynamic, unless you have a static IP address.
- If you have to sign in with a user name and password then you could be using PPPoe.
Do you support PPOA?
We do not currently support PPOA.
Loss Internet connectivity?
STEP 1. With the Sentry turned off, (ALWAYS TURN OFF THE SENTRY THROUGH THE WEB INTERFACE) Unplug or
turn off your modem, leave the modem off for at least 1 minute. Plug your modem back in and then turn on the Sentry. Wait and see if this fixes your problem.
Do you need to set your DSL Modem as a bridge?
STEP 2. Log into your DSL modem interface (you may need to call your ISP for this information), find and select the bridging option to continue. Restart the Sentry.
STEP 3. Advanced: Does the modem need to be re-flashed. Sometimes an older modem will not support bridging, or it may need to be flashed to a bridge mode. You will need to call your ISP about these options
